Editing your page content

How do I edit a page on my WordPress website?

Once you are logged into your website, you can easily edit any of your service pages. To log in, simply add “/admin” to the end of your URL and enter your WordPress username and password provided to you by your website account manager.

There are two ways to navigate the pages of your website. The first is to use the back-end of the website and click on the “Pages” post type from the menu. From there, you can search for the page you are wanting to edit. The second option is to navigate to the page via the front-end of the website. This is the easier and recommended option.

To toggle back and forth between the front-end and back-end of your website, simply click on your website name in the upper left corner of the screen. Once you are viewing your website from the front-end, everything will look the same except for a black toolbar at the top of the screen. This toolbar will give you the option to edit a page. Navigate to the page you are wanting to update and then click “Edit Page” at the top of the screen.

How do I save my updates?

Once you have made your edits, be sure to click the blue “Update” button on the right-hand side of the screen. If you do not click “Update”, your changes will be lost. After clicking “Update”, you will see an option to “View Page” at the top of the screen. This will bring you back to the front end of the website where you can review the changes you just made.
