What is Mailchimp?

Mailchimp is an email marketing platform that allows you to keep in touch with your customers. Sending out frequent emails to your patient email list is a great way to maintain a good relationship with the patient and to increase word of mouth referrals.  

How do I login to my Mailchimp account?

You should have created a Mailchimp account during the website development process. You can log into Mailchimp by going to www.mailchimp.com and clicking “Sign In” in the upper right corner. Enter your username and password into the login fields and hit “enter”. If you do not have your Mailchimp credentials, you can request them from your website account manager.

How do I add more subscribers to my subscriber list?

Keeping your mailing list updated is important! To add more subscribers to your email list, you will need to export them from your EMR system and save them in Microsoft Excel as a .CSV file. In Mailchimp, click on “Lists” and select the list (if you have more than one) that you want to add subscribers to.

 

Click on the drop down-arrow and then select “Import Subscribers”. This will open up a page where you can either upload the .CSV file or copy and paste the names and emails that you wish to import. Be sure to click save when you are finished!
